Who is this certification designed for?
This program is for aspiring, emerging, and experienced practitioners who want to guide others through microdosing safely, ethically, and effectively. Whether you’re brand new or already working with clients, you’ll receive the training, structure, and tools to start offering microdosing guidance as a paid service with confidence.
I don’t have a coaching background. Will this work for me?
Absolutely! We’ve designed this program to be accessible for both experienced coaches and complete beginners. We start with foundational skills and provide plenty of guided practice opportunities. Many of our most successful graduates come from non-coaching backgrounds and bring valuable perspectives from their previous careers.
Do I need to have experience with microdosing to join?
Personal microdosing experience is highly encouraged — we believe in walking the walk before guiding others. That said, it’s not required to enroll. The program includes a guided 6-week microdosing journey so you can experience the protocol firsthand. If you’re unable to participate due to health or access reasons, reach out and we’ll explore possible alternatives.

Your consultation with Joseph Anew, our Career Advisor and a PCI graduate, is a personalized conversation to explore whether the Microdosing Practitioner Certification aligns with your goals. He’ll ask about your background, answer questions, and offer honest feedback about whether this is the right program for you.
Is there an application fee?
Yes — there’s a one-time, non-refundable $249 application fee, which helps us ensure a thoughtful admissions process. If accepted, this fee is applied toward your tuition.
How selective is the application process?
This program is designed for motivated, values-aligned individuals who are ready to engage fully. We don’t require prior coaching experience, but we do look for a strong personal connection to the work, readiness to learn, and alignment with PCI’s ethical standards.
How much does the program cost?
Tuition starts at just $3,000 but will go up to $5,000 closer to the program start date. You’ll receive all program content, live training, client-ready materials, and access to over $2,500 in Founding Member bonuses.
Is the microdosing supply included?
No — microdosing supply is not included in your tuition. However, we’ll connect you with trusted, vetted sources so you can safely and responsibly access what you need for the 6-week microdosing experience. You should plan on an additional cost of anywhere from 100-200 USD to source the necessary microdoses for this training.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, we offer flexible payment plans. After your consultation and acceptance into the program, you’ll have financing options through Affirm or custom plans arranged with our team. Additional fees may apply for internal payment plans.
Do you offer scholarships or alumni discounts?
Yes — we offer partial scholarships on a limited basis for those with financial need, and all alumni of PCI programs receive an additional discount. Be sure to mention this during your consultation call!
What’s your refund policy?
You’re eligible for a full refund within 10 days of your Admissions Interview, before the program starts. Partial refunds may be available depending on how far out you are from the start date. Schedule & Logistics
What’s the weekly time commitment?
The program is designed for busy professionals. Expect ~3–4 hours per week: 90 minutes for live sessions (recordings provided) and 1–2 hours for practice or assignments.
When are the live calls?
The weekly live calls will be held on Tuesdays at 9am PT. Call times are subject to change. You’ll receive the full schedule before the program begins.
What if I can’t attend live?
All live sessions are recorded and made available for you to watch on your own time. Completing the material — live or recorded — is required for graduation.
How long do I have access to the course materials?
You’ll have access to all session recordings, resources, and downloads for at least 12 months after the program ends — plenty of time to revisit the material, refine your skills, and implement what you’ve learned.
Curriculum & Certification
What kind of practice will I get?
You’ll engage in live demos, peer practice sessions, and submit a recorded session for expert feedback. You’ll also complete a 6-week personal microdosing experience and submit written reflections along the way.
Is this a live or self-paced program?
This is a live training with scheduled sessions, interactive workshops, and peer practice — but recordings are provided for flexible access. It’s not self-paced; real-time participation is part of the experience.
What is the Paul F. Austin Protocol — and why does it matter?
It’s our signature framework for microdosing with nervous system awareness and somatic tools. It helps you guide others in a structured, safe, and deeply grounded way — setting you apart from more casual or theory-only approaches.
What’s required to graduate? Am I guaranteed certification?
As long as you meet the graduation requirements, you’ll earn your Microdosing Practitioner Certificate from the Psychedelic Coaching Institute. Certification is earned through full participation and demonstrated readiness. To graduate, you’ll need to complete all course content (live or recorded), submit and pass all required assignments, and uphold the PCI Code of Ethics.
What’s the next step after the Microdosing Practitioner Certification?
Graduates of this program are eligible for our Psychedelic Practitioner Certification — a comprehensive 6-month training that covers macrodosing facilitation and advanced integration techniques. This program serves as an excellent foundation and natural stepping stone into that deeper work.

You’ll get templates, pricing guidance, email scripts, and a full client experience toolkit to help you launch your microdosing offer with confidence.
What if I can’t find clients?
We’ll help you with that. Business development is built into the program — from niche clarity to lead generation to enrollment conversations.
Will I feel confident charging for this service by the end of the program?
Yes. Through real practice, expert feedback, and step-by-step launch tools, you’ll be ready to charge for your offer with clarity and integrity.
Do I need to have a website or business already?
Not at all. Many students join while still building the foundations of their practice. We’ll guide you through designing your first microdosing offer, even if you’re starting from scratch.
Will I be listed in your practitioner directory?
Students who complete all certification requirements may be eligible for inclusion in our Certified Practitioner Directory. This listing is optional and offered at our discretion based on readiness, integrity, and alignment with PCI’s values.
Legal, Safety & Ethics
Is microdosing legal?
Microdosing exists in a legal gray area and varies by region. We do not provide or distribute substances. Instead, we focus on education and harm reduction, supporting clients who choose to microdose on their own.
Can I legally offer microdosing support?
Yes — when done properly. You’ll learn how to work within your scope as a practitioner, offering preparation, integration, and protocol guidance without supplying or recommending illegal substances. We cover legal considerations and best practices so you can support clients ethically and responsibly.
Is there a Code of Ethics participants are expected to follow?
Yes — all participants agree to follow our Code of Ethics throughout the program. It ensures a professional, respectful learning environment and reflects our shared commitment to integrity and responsible practice.
